Since I’ve been getting my graphic on, in between tending to a very beautiful squealing baby boy and making sense of this new life as a mother I’ve been thrown into, I’ve been discovering lots of beautiful things. But you know, it’s so hard to keep track of all this stuff. You wander around the internet for a few hours, find a bunch of cute things you like, or want to make, and before you know it you’ve forgotten what you’ve seen, what you’re looking for, or even why you sat down in front of your computer in the first place. Or maybe that’s just me.
Anyway, enter Pinterest, a fantastic little tool I’ve just discovered that is helping me keep track of everything that I love. Kind of like Stumble Upon but in my opinion, way cooler. It’s like bookmarks, but more visual. And you can follow other people, so you’re always discovering even more beautiful things! Is it a time waster? You bet. But it’ll make you happy, I promise, so go check it out. And if you make or sell anything creative, this is where you need to be. It’s like Facebook for your creations. There. I dropped the F-bomb. You know you need it now.
In other news, Henry is now four months old. I can barely believe it. And I thought I had no time to freelance when I was pregnant! I’ve been so busy with the little guy it feels like I’ve been in a coma for four months. But the good news is that I’m finally waking up. Mister is somewhat more predictable these days and we’ve got into the swing of the whole feed, play, sleep thing, which means mummy has some time now; time to clean the house, make her husband some dinner, and get back to work. Exciting!
So, while I figure out where to start with work again, here’s a photo of the little guy to distract you all from the fact that this post has no real substance. Ready? Awwww……
